WHAT DRIVES US
Because livestock shows should be about more than winning.
THE KIDS COME FIRST
The Okie Throwdown Series was created because we believe youth livestock shows should be about more than winning.Â
They should be about the kids who put in the work.
MORE THAN AWARDS
Behind every show pig is a young exhibitor who has spent countless early mornings and late nights feeding, training, cleaning pens, learning, failing, improving and showing up again. That kind of dedication deserves to be recognized.Â
BUILDING SOMETHING THAT LAST
Our why is to create a show series where EVERY kid feels like THEY MATTER. Where hard work is celebrated, sportsmanship is expected, families feel welcome, and young exhibitors have something exciting to work toward.Â
Yes, we want to give away great buckles, banners, and other awards. But those are not the real reward.Â
The real reward is watching a child gain confidence, build friendships that last a lifetime, and seeing older exhibitors step up to help younger ones.
The banners will fade. The lessons won't.
